database / DEPLOYMENT PRESET

Redis

Private authenticated Redis with append-only persistence.

Before you start

  • Review Redis 8 license options
  • Persistent storage; no eviction when the data budget is full

Configuration that needs your attention

The database-password reference protects the default account. Configure additional ACL users inside Redis when needed.

Redis 8 has upstream license options; review the terms that apply to your use.

AOF persistence uses a 64 MiB data budget with no eviction. Plan capacity and backups separately.

Required secrets

Configure these scoped secrets during deployment review in your Hakopod installation. Secret values stay out of the application TOML.

  • database-password

Use this preset

  1. Open the Catalog in your own Hakopod dashboard and select Redis.
  2. Choose the project, environment, and application name. Set the required values and secret references.
  3. Review the generated configuration, resource requests, networking, and storage plan.
  4. Deploy, then inspect readiness and logs. Configure backups for persistent data before relying on the service.
