Hakopod
& Dokploy.
For teams that want Git, images, Compose, and Swarm workflows in a Docker-centered platform.
Do you already describe your services with Docker Compose?
Compare how much of that definition you want to carry directly into deployment, and how you want to manage shared networking and environment values.
01 Workload runtime
Hakopod
K3s runs the workloads. A Go API and reconciler keep accepted operations and history in PostgreSQL.
Dokploy
Docker applications, Docker Compose and Docker Swarm stacks; Traefik handles reverse proxy routing.
02 Source to deployment
Hakopod
Deploy an image or sync a TOML path from GitHub or GitLab. Dockerfile and buildpack builds run through configured provider CI.
Dokploy
Applications accept Git or Docker sources. Push webhooks trigger deployment; Compose can come from a repository.
03 Describing related services
Hakopod
One application TOML describes services, resource profiles, network membership, mounts and secret references. Review changes before deployment.
Dokploy
Docker Compose describes several services. Stack mode targets Swarm and has its own supported Compose features.
04 Configuration and credentials
Hakopod
Plain variables live per service. Secret values are stored separately and bound by scoped references in reviewed TOML.
Dokploy
Application environment values have an editor. Compose values are written to an .env file and must be referenced or loaded by the Compose definition.
05 Private connections
Hakopod
Application-local networks and project/environment-scoped virtual segments connect selected services. Explicit peer rules restrict declared destination ports.
Dokploy
Compose carries service networking configuration. Separate advanced application settings control public port exposure and Traefik routing.
Check the details.
Based on the official documentation checked on 13 September 2026. These are workflow differences, not performance rankings. Hakopod is a development release and its shared Cloud service is planned. Editions, licenses and hosted pricing can change; confirm the current terms with each project.
