Before you start
- Persistent storage at /meili_data; back up regularly or use dumps and snapshots.
- The master key protects the API in production mode. Create scoped search and admin keys from it for applications; do not ship the master key to browsers.
- Analytics are disabled with MEILI_NO_ANALYTICS=true.

Production mode requires the master key; create scoped API keys for clients.

Configure these scoped secrets during deployment review in your Hakopod installation. Secret values stay out of the application TOML.

Use this preset
- Open the Catalog in your own Hakopod dashboard and select Meilisearch.
- Choose the project, environment, and application name. Set the required values and secret references.
- Review the generated configuration, resource requests, networking, and storage plan.
- Deploy, then inspect readiness and logs. Configure backups for persistent data before relying on the service.
