Before you start
- HTTP port 8123 on the pod network; the native protocol listens on loopback only, for backups the engine performs itself
- Persistent storage; one replica; background pools bounded
Configuration that needs your attention
The template provides a bounded XML configuration with a hashed password for the default user.
Private HTTP port 8123 is enabled. The native ClickHouse TCP protocol is not exposed by this preset.
Persistent storage and a 256 MiB query memory budget are explicit. Review these limits for large imports and queries.
Required secrets
Configure these scoped secrets during deployment review in your Hakopod installation. Secret values stay out of the application TOML.
-
database-password
Use this preset
- Open the Catalog in your own Hakopod dashboard and select ClickHouse.
- Choose the project, environment, and application name. Set the required values and secret references.
- Review the generated configuration, resource requests, networking, and storage plan.
- Deploy, then inspect readiness and logs. Configure backups for persistent data before relying on the service.
